TPO WATERPROOFING SYSTEM

One of Carlisles major investments in the recenet years is the construction of a TPO hot welding membrane production facility in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Carlisles Sure-Weld TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) membrane received an extremely warm welcome on the market, which resulted in exceptional sales. While the single-ply technical infrastructure of Carlisle served as the foundation for that growth, Sure-Weld TPO has several major physical characteristics, which caused the phenomenal winning of a market share:

  • The thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane combines the weathering resistance of the ethylene-propylene rubber and the weldable polypropylene.
  • The membranes composition is designed so that it does not contain plasticizers, chlorides and other chemical compounds, harmful to the environment.
  • The exceptional combination of thermoplastic polyolefin and reinforcing polyester base, makes the TPO membrane a product with high strength characteristics and excellent UV resistance.
  • The roofing system is offered in three colors white, beige and grey.

These product characteristics, now offered by Carlisles Sure-Weld TPO, illustrate our future investment plans for our owners and contractors. As we have been doing for 40 years in the single-ply industry, SynTec now sets nre standards for the present and future market of thermoplastic hot-welding products.
